Workshop will be held on May 6
The Cincinnati Soap Box Derby will be holding a workshop on Saturday morning, May 6, 2006, 9 a.m. at Midwest Switchgear in Middletown.

From Cincinnati: Take I-75 North to the first Franklin Exit, which is State Route 123. Turn left on 123 and take it into the town of Franklin. The first main intersection in town is Riley Blvd. Turn left on Riley (there is a large paper mill at the intersection - Franklin Paperboard Company). Riley becomes State Route 73; follow Route 73 West out of town. Route 73 becomes a 4-lane parkway after you get out of Franklin. Travel approx 3 miles on 73 and you will go underneath an old railroad overpass. About 300 yards past the overpass, turn left on a short access road that puts you onto Tytus Avenue. Immediately bear right onto Tytus and Midwest Switchgear is ahead on the left about 1/2 mile up on Tytus. We are a brick 2-story building.:

Drivers' Meetings will be held in June 2006.
We require that all drivers attend one of these. You'll be briefed about everything from what to wear on race day... to how to find your car when it's time to race. These meetings are included in the racer entry fee, there is no extra charge to attend.
There will be a drivers meeting/briefing:
- Sun., June 4, 2006 before the practice session begins
- Sat., June 17 at the check-in
- Sun., June 18 at the check-in
- Sat., June 24 at 9 a.m before opening ceremonies
